Are amika products sulfate + paraben-free?

All haircare products are sulfate-free. Bombshell Blowout Spray and The Shield Style Extending Spray are our only products that contain parabens, and we are in the process of reformulating them with non-paraben preservatives.

Are amika products gluten-free?

There are four products in our haircare line that contain gluten: Oil Treatment contains wheat germ oil, and Triple Rx Shampoo + Conditioner and The Shield Style Extending Spray contain hydrolyzed wheat protein.

Are amika products cruelty-free?

amika never has and never will conduct animal testing. When we create a product, we test it on ourselves, our friends, anyone and everyone we can get our hands on! We test on people, never animals.

Are amika products vegan?

The majority of our haircare line is vegan, however, a small handful of products use animal-derived ingredients. Hydrolyzed keratin, derived from sheep’s wool, is utilized in our Triple Rx Shampoo + Conditioner and Bust Your Brass Cool Blonde Shampoo. Haute Mess Texture Gel contains honey extract, which comes from honey bees.

Where are amika products made?

Our products are produced in both Israel and the United States.

Can I receive samples?

Every order includes three free samples. At checkout, we give you the option to make a personalized selection. Should any of your selected samples be out-of-stock, we will make substitutions at our discretion.

What are my shipping options?

amika orders ship via FedEx/USPS on business days (Monday through Friday from 8:30am-5:30pm EST, excluding major holidays). amika offers free standard shipping to the contiguous 48 U.S. states. We currently do not ship to P.O. boxes, APO, FPO and DPO destinations. Free shipping is offered on all orders excluding Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, Puerto Rico, Guam, U.S. Virgin Islands and all other U.S. territories, to which amika offers a $35 flat rate shipping fee. We require 1-2 business days for processing, and shipping can take up to 3-5 business days. For questions, please contact Customer Service at info@loveamika.com.

Can I cancel my order?

Most orders placed before 4pm EST will ship the same day. Should you need to cancel your order, we will do our best to accommodate if we receive an email from you within 2 hours of placing the order at info@loveamika.com. Please be sure to include your order number in the subject line.

How do I register my tool?

How do I return an item?

If you are not totally satisfied with your loveamika.com purchase, we’ll happily accept returns within 30 days of receipt. Returns are free and easy!

Visit our return form to create a return.

Once we receive your return, we will refund the credit card used for the initial purchase. Please be patient. Seeing a credit on your account can take several business days.

Sadly, we cannot accept any returns and will not refund any items not purchased directly from loveamika.com.

How do I make a warranty claim?

To make a warranty claim, please visit our Warranty page. All warranty returns must include proof of purchase from an authorized retailer.
