FAQ
what are bonds?
hair is made up of different kinds of bonds that impact the strength and elasticity of our hair. these bonds are damaged daily by heat styling, environmental stressors, chemical treatments, and more. damage leads to hair looking dull, damaged, frizzy, and unmanageable.
what is bond cure technology?
the bond cure technology used in the bust your brass collection is a proprietary blend of ingredients that are meant to target hydrogen bonds, the most abundant bonds in your hair which are most prone to breakage.
what is brassiness?
brassiness refers to unwanted warm and yellow tones that appear over time in blonde, silver, and grey hair as it is washed and exposed to environmental stressors. the bust your brass collection counteracts brassiness by using ultra violet pigments to neutralize warm tones, resulting in cool shades of blonde, silver, and gray.
what types of damage does the bond cure technology repair?
the bust your brass collection, formulated with bond cure technology, targets all types of damage-- from chemical, to mechanical, to natural breakage and environmental stressors. it repairs the most abundant bonds in the hair, leaving damaged hair stronger after use.
how does the bond cure technology work compared to other bonding products on the market?
the bond cure technology in the bust your brass collection is formulated to target hydrogen bonds, the most abundant bonds in your hair. hydrogen bonds are the most fragile bonds in hair, and are damaged daily by heat styling, environmental stressors, manipulation, chemical treatments, and more. the bust your brass collection targets all kinds of damage and strengthens hair to prevent future breakage. other bond building products on the market target less common types of hair bonds that may not require as much repair from different kinds of damage.
is there any keratin in these products?
no! we’ve replaced keratin with hydrolyzed quinoa, a vegan protein, so the new bust your brass collection is 100% vegan and does not build up on hair when used as directed.
